Go To Leggings

Andrea of Go To Patterns has released a new pattern for children's leggings, of course not before thorough testing and I was lucky enough to be able to test the pattern.
I made the 3T size with ruched legs and the attached skirt for B and I made a plain black pair in size 6 for D.
The pattern went together quickly and will definitely be getting lots of use, soo easy to put B in a dress & leggings.
For D the leggings will be for pj's and/or another layer under jeans & snow pants while out playing this winter.
The pattern is sized 12months to 12 years, amazing - think of the years of use!!!
With all of the suggested options Andrea gives with the pattern I still managed to do mine differently. I added the bow to the top of the ruching on the legs to match the contrasting attached skirt. The skirt is cut from a thrifted camisole so I didn't have to hem the skirt - easy!

I made the long sleeve shirt to match and finally got a picture I could use - B doesn't like to stand still for long :) - and as I'm sure you can understand I try to limit the facial exposure of my children so there are some pictures that it just doesn't work well to crop - I need to make a pretty mask for B to wear I think - that would be another way to shield her and not have as many awkward crops.

I need to restock my elastic stash with more 1" elastic so I can get more of these leggings sewn up, a comfy wardrobe staple for B.
Thank you Andrea for the opportunity to test the pattern!
